The 1998 North American Championships in Bangor, Maine
Scores: 94-84-80 Not the best scores, but we did ok. In the obedience, he walked on his stands (a lot). He blew his voraus, and there were a few other bobbles that cost the points. But, in general, I was pleased with his attitude. I don't have any pictures of the track, but I was very pleased with his focused performance. In the track, he overshot 2 corners by a matter of inches, and he was slow to down on his articles. I also messed up a command for one of the restarts at the article, so that cost us a point. It was on a plowed potato field, and you could see every step clearly, so every deviation from the track showed up. It was probably the 10th dirt track in his life. |
