100% DDR bloodlines

A daughter of our imported Xita, out of a male in Germany, Oda is linebred on some of the great DDR producers of the last 20+ years. Her entire litter that has demonstrated its sound nerves, excellent self-confidence, and great willingness to work with the handler with their versatility -- from herding to mobility service dog to therapy dog to competition obedience, as well as family companions with a natural love of children.

In addition to overall good health and strong genetics for good hips and elbows from a litter strong in its hip production, Oda brings very correct and sound conformation, solid bone, and gorgeous head and expression as well as moderate drive, high trainability, and excellent natural instincts.

Oda is a proven producer of puppies working in herding, agility, AKC obedience, IPO, and as active companions. She is a correct medium-size, about 65 pounds.

SAR-HRD Tank vom Franzosen Wald, BH, BN

Tank is a large, sable dog who is strong both mentally and physically. He has proven his versatility in training for his SAR certification and in his new home where he is training for IPO and has competed in the AKC obedience ring. He is powerfully and correctly built with strong bones and athletic conformation.

Tank's owner says of him, "Tank is a son of Quax vom Rosseleck, who is a littermate to Quasimodo (a multiple time National and Regional competitor in Germany). Quax, himself, scored the highest rating of V in his SchH 1 with the scores of 99,95, and 100 in protection. [Quax was also] a NYSFEDSAR Certified Area Search K-9; both live-find and cadaver. Tank's dam is also a certified SAR dog with IPWDA in HRD (human remains detection). In fact, Tank is a third generation certified SAR dog coming down through his maternal line. Both his dam and grand-dam were certified."
She continues: "Although he is still actively working in HRD, we have now started his career in IPO. This is an extremely strong, powerful dog on the field with a lovely, deep, cadenced bark. He brings power and high work ethic to the table. In his obedience, he is eager to work, animated in his heeling, and extremely focused. Tank's tracking is also impressive, with a very deep nose and strong drive."

Blackthorn's "B" litter

Born in November 2001, this litter from Bodo and Nike produced everything we could have wanted--beautiful dogs who love to work. Three of the puppies--Badger (Xena), Brer, and Bramble--worked as certified Search and Rescue dogs.
